I am trying to get my system to sleep or shutdown after some idle time and I also want to be able to do Wake On LAN.
When I modify the last line "autoshutdown ..." it is reset back to the original setting. Is there a solution to this problem?

ElonAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03684910720604002047noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6730844193902134967.post-11673648904117760382010-11-22T21:20:22.511-08:002010-11-22T21:20:22.511-08:00Hi Tresten,

It appears that the last line "autoshutdown autoshutdown......" causes the pmconfig command to spit the dummy - "pmconfig: "/etc/power.conf" line 16, bad time format (autoshutdown)"

Removing that line makes everything work including the HDDs to spin down. I'm not sure if this is peculiar to my system or not and I didn't spot anything in your scripts...Somerandomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03229001265912266380noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6730844193902134967.post-2664937717130427562010-01-27T21:07:42.473-08:002010-01-27T21:07:42.473-08:00vertex_vr4,
